Concerning basic principles...

Concerning winning...
&&. When a Medicine Cat position falls open and there is no Medicine Cat Apprentice readily available, there is an audition process. This can be detrimental to a Clan, for while staff are appraising tryouts, the Clan is without a Medicine Cat. Like the Leader auditions, there is no end date and the audition closes once a character is chosen. Medicine Cats may then inform a staff member they are ready to open Apprentice auditions. These work similarly to the Deputy tryouts in that staff simply say whether an audition is acceptable and the Medicine Cat gets the final say.
