Leader's Den

Directly across from the well-used entrance and easily five tail-lengths from the ground, the Ledge towers over the camp. Directly behind is the mouth of the Leader's Den, a narrow, sandy floored tunnel leading deep into the cliff.

Warriors' Den

A cave system large enough to allow many Warriors their own den lies directly to the right of the Camp entrance. Once upon a time, it was entirely naturally forming. Generations of cats, however, have scored new dens into the dirt. Cave-ins are rare, but unfortunately not unheard of.

Medicine Den

Just to the left of the Ledge, level with the ground, a hollow of rock serves as the Medicine Den. Overgrown bracken and heather allow the area to be very well shielded and even provide solitude and privacy for anyone under the Medicine Cat's care.

Apprentices' Den

Past the Warriors Den along the west wall, there lies what appears to simply be a crack in the rock. The opening is too small for the average warrior to comfortably fit more than a head through, though it immediately widens into a spacious cavern with a soft, sandy floor. As such, it is ideal real-estate for the Apprentices' Den.

Elders' Den

An immediate left U-turn from the break in the Camp wall will take a cat straight into a tangle of bracken, gorse, and heather. The interior has been flattened by the oldest generation in the Clan since the beginning of the isle.

Nursery

High in the cliff wall between the Medicine Den and Elders' Den, safe from flooding and almost any attack, a tunnel leads several fox-lengths down into the rock. Though the danger of falling is prevalent with any significant height, HeatherClan prides themselves in their sure-footedness. Few kits are injured from a surprise dive.

Board Information & Statistics

HeatherClan Camp
Nestled deep in the heart of the Highlands, HeatherClan Camp is a circle of cliff faces. As such, it is near impenetrable save for the very small opening in the north end of the wall. There are a few paths up the rock face for those who are particularly vertically inclined. Small cave systems dot the walls, offering protection from the elements of the windswept hill country.
